Now that viewers have been introduced to all six of the characters played by Lilley in the series, I can’t wait for all the plots to interweave and for them to meet. The series is now half done and the party Daniel is throwing to see Nathan off to deaf school is surely to be epic, especially if all the “legends” show up. In episode five S.Mouse takes his career into his own hands and starts recording songs about three-legged dogs and women who have had a breast removed. Meanwhile Tiger mom Jen Okazaki pushes her son even farther to be gay as well as introduces the world to a new form of weight loss the “Fart Method.” The twins spend the episode trying to prank each other with urine a huge coincidence considering all the media last week about Marines urinating on corpses. While there are laughs in this episode it is the weakest so far and does not have a sliver of the comedy magic “Summer Heights High” did. Episode six does step up the laughs as ex pro surfer Blake starts a surf camp for fat boys and Gran is back trying to get one of the inmates to open up. Gran also gets all of her juvenile delinquents to pretend life is a lot worse than it really is for her own hilarious sacred straight program. The episode ends with the twins finding out their mother is going to marry live in boyfriend Steve. This makes Daniel an even angrier boy, and it should be interesting how it plays out. “Angry Boys” airs on HBO Sundays at 10pm. I for one have my DVR set to record.
